Our VIC Children's Sailing program in Williamstown, Melbourne, features five 9am-12:30pm days, covering all facets of sailing with specialist coaching sessions. The coaching panel will include experienced sailing instructors from all over the country.
The Melbourne Kids Learn Sailing Program is an exciting partnership with the Royal Yacht Club of Victoria. Tackers' is a group program introducing children aged 7 to 12 to sailing. All, in a fun, safe, accessible and affordable way. Also, it focuses on non-competitive learning within a supportive environment. Session plans have a great structure. So, kids don’t need to have any sailing experience. Which is great for this Melbourne Learn Sailing Program. Also, they don’t have to be a member of a club to participate. We provide all the equipment, including the boats. The Melbourne Learn Sailing Program runs 5 days 9:00am to 12:30pm daily.
This Sailing Camp teaches children about:
- team work – compromise, share, express thoughts and look after each other
- listening
- confidence to accomplish something new
- cognitive skills
- problem solving
- the weather and wind awareness
