.NET Domains

When the .NET universal top-level domain extension was initially introduced in 1985, along with the first domain extensions on the World Wide Web, it was planned to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure companies. Given that there were no special requirements about the usage of the top-level domain extension, though, dot NET domains were purchased and used for various purposes and by a huge number of people. This domain extension is a good substitution for dot COM, notably if the desired domain with the latter domain extension is not available for registration.

Getting a dot NET domain name with our firm is as easy as 1-2-3 and takes merely a couple of minutes, considering that we work with an ICANN-approved registrar. You can get such a domain for a period between 1 and 10 years, or, if you already own a domain, you can move it over to our company and we will renew it as soon as the transfer process is finalized. Transfers are possible for all domains, which are at least sixty days old, provided that they are not locked and that you have received an EPP transfer authorization key – security measures introduced by the .NET Registry against unauthorized transfers. You can easily change the WHOIS details of the domain through your Control Panel tool, or, if you don’t want this info to be public at all, you can get a Whois Privacy Protection service, so no one will be able to see your true contact info.

The dot NET top-level domain name extension supports internationalized names, so you can select if you want to aim at a particular country or zone using a domain name in the local language, or the global online community – using a generic English name.
