Can a margarita be healthy? It’s a question that has puzzled scholars for centuries. Sure, classic margs aren’t really all that high in calories—handmade with basic ingredients and not with sugary pre-made mixes—and some wizards have even developed delicious “skinny” recipes with less than 100 calories. But can a margarita actually benefit your health and well-being? Grand Velas Los Cabos believes they can.
When guests arrive and check-in to their two-story Wellness Suites, which combine the resort’s modern style and sophistication with fitness-based amenities like an in-room exercise bicycle, private training sessions and a wheatgrass margarita, among others. This refreshing cocktail takes advantage of wheatgrass’s natural benefits, like nutrients, antioxidants and amino acids, without skimping on the Don Julio, wink wink.
As Mexico reopens and Grand Velas Los Cabos reinvigorates guests with the resort’s amazing views, while practicing strict hygiene protocols, you can find out for yourself. Or, if you can’t wait, you can make your own wheatgrass margarita now, at home, with this simple and healthy recipe that is high on vitamins A, C and E, and might even help lower your cholesterol.
