Tropical Drink Recipe: The Hurricane Cocktail

Hurricane Tropical Drink
The Hurricane Be careful — with six kinds of alcohol and blended with tart fruit juices, this aptly named cocktail will knock you off your feet. Thinkstock

SERVES 1

  • 1 oz. vodka
  • 1 oz. gin
  • 1 oz. light rum
  • 1 oz. amaretto almond liqueur
  • 1 oz. triple sec
  • 1/2-oz. Bacardi 151 rum
  • 1/4-oz. grenadine syrup
  • grapefruit juice
  • pineapple juice

Pour all ingredients but the juices into a hurricane glass filled (halfway to three-quarters) with ice. Add equal amounts of each juice to fill, then serve. Cheers!
