Firecracker Drink Recipe

Watermelon makes a bang in this 4th of July drink.

What’s the 4th of July without watermelon? Have yours with rum thanks to this refreshing libation. How did the drink get named the Firecracker? We’re guessing it’s that sneaky addition of cayenne pepper. Bam!

Firecracker Drink Recipe

  • 3-4 watermelon chunks
  • 3 oz. spiced rum
  • 1 oz. triple sec
  • 1 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz. simple syrup
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper

Muddle watermelon chunks in a cocktail shaker. Add the rest of the ingredients and shake with ice. Strain into a glass and garnish with watermelon wedge.
