New Ovation of the Seas to Make Home in Australia

Cruise fans: Have you been waiting for the right time to visit Australia? Royal Caribbean has just announced that it’s sending a brand new ship to Sydney beginning in winter 2016-17. Ovation of the Seas, currently being build in Germany, will be the largest ship to call Australia home.

Part of Royal Caribbean’s “Quantum” class of ships, Ovation of the Seas will include state-of-the-art technological features such as the Bionic Bar, which robotic arms create cocktails, high-speed WiFi and a new “SeaPlex” that offers bumper cars, a basketball court, roller skating, circus school and more.

Before Ovation of the Seas sets sail for Australia, it will depart for a variety of itineraries earlier in 2016, including trips to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, England, France, Belgium, Spain, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea and China.
