One of the clichés we always use when it comes to Black Friday and Cyber Monday travel deals is there’s always something for every kind of traveler. This year, though, that’s not a cliché—it’s a stone-cold fact. We have been bombarded and gifted with awesome deals from resorts and hotels all over the world, so it’s more difficult than ever to decide where to focus when planning the dream vacation at a heck of a discount.
Cruise aficionados might have an easier choice, however. There are plenty of deals to take advantage of on the open sea, but loyal travelers usually know which way their deck chairs point. Or maybe you want to try something new—either way, there are epic voyages and deals to be enjoyed, so it’s just a matter of packing the bags.
Virgin Voyages
Sir Richard Branson’s cruise line is offering two deals that both begin today. The first is the 7 Days to Save concept that ends on November 28. For as little as $99 a night for Insider rooms (Sea Terrace are $129 per), guests can enjoy a weeklong December trip on the Valiant Lady or Scarlet Lady (or both if you have the free vacation time). For the former, the voyages embark on Dec. 3, Dec. 11, and Dec. 17. Dates for the latter are Dec. 4, Dec. 9, Dec. 14, and Dec. 18.
The Dreamy and Solo Sailor Getaway Offer provides a little more flexibility. Booking runs now through Dec. 6 for a travel window that closes at the end of April 2023. With no single supplement, a solo traveler will spend $1,815 for a trip on the Valiant Lady and $1,128 on the Scarlet Lady. However, a second sailor will get 50 percent off, making the cost $2,723 and $1,622, respectively.
A $100 bar tab will also be tacked on to a purchase of a $300 bar tab, and Florida residents are eligible for another 5 percent off. In case anyone needs an extra nudge.
Norwegian Cruise Line
What else needs to be said about the “Greatest Deal Ever”? Running since early November, this concept lets the second guest sail free on any of the fleet’s 18 ships, including the Norwegian Prima. Even better, this offer can be combined with “Free at Sea,” which saves guests more than $3,000 by letting them enjoy as many as six complimentary perks of their choice, including unlimited open bar, specialty dining, WiFi, airfare for the second guest, shore excursions, and more.
The Greatest Deal Ever expires on December 5.
Celebrity Cruises
The savings are as big as the ship with Celebrity’s biggest Black Friday offering ever, but don’t blink—this window closes quickly. The offer period expires on November 23, so travelers will have to consider all the bells and whistles without being distracted by daydreams of epic journeys throughout Hawaii, New Zealand, and the Caribbean. The second guest can save as much as 75 percent on fare in addition to as much as $800 in stateroom savings and $800 in onboard credits.
Spoiler alert: 10 nights earns the most and provides the most memories.
Holland America Line
The Black Friday deal from Holland America Line is already underway and runs until Nov. 27 for travel all the way through 2024. Guests will enjoy up to 40 percent off cruise fares on itineraries of five days and more, as well as prepaid gratuities. Destinations include the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, the Pacific Coast, and more.
And regular sailors for this brand are surely wondering, “Can I combine it with the Have It All package?” and the answer is a resounding yes. The signature beverage package, shore excursions, and specialty dining, among other perks, all play very nicely with a nice big discount.
Princess Cruises
Who doesn’t love variety? Princess Cruises is well-known for creativity with itineraries and now guests can combine that with the generous 60 Sailings Under $60 Per Day Black Friday Deal. Voyages to the Caribbean, Mexico, South America, Hawaii, Australia, and New Zealand can all be booked at fantastic prices. Not feeling inspired? There are even more destinations and sailings for under $100 per day.
The cherry on top is a $1 deposit requirement, which is great for your one travel buddy who is always worried about losing that cash.
Booking is underway now and runs until Nov. 30 for select 2023 journeys.
Azamara
What Azamara excels at is cultivating a stronger connection between guests and the destinations, and one of the ways this upmarket cruise provider does that is later stays and overnighters, as well as enriching shore excursions. So, why not offer travelers a chance to do more for less, all while feeling extra spoiled?
Available now through Dec. 2 for more than 100 sailings between Jan. 4 and Nov. 14, 2023, guests can enjoy a $1,000 credit to spend on those famed excursions, as well as specialty dining options and spa experiences. The Double Stateroom Upgrade also lets visitors book a Veranda stateroom for the price of an Interior Stateroom or a Veranda Plus for the price of an Oceanview.
Oceania Cruises
Now through November 28, guests can take advantage of 2-for-1 cruise fares plus free economy air and the choice of free shore excursions, free beverage package, or shipboard credit. Oh, and free gratuities are included. There are plenty of trips to choose from in 2023 and 2024, so the toughest decision will be between the shore excursions and complimentary drinks.
Ecoventura
Any chance to visit the Galapagos Islands is a good one, but it’s even better with a discount that rarely comes along. But the Ecoventura experience isn’t just any voyage to see the blue-footed boobies. Guests will enjoy all the frills and spoils of a modern mega-yacht on this seven-night journey, so it’s basically like traveling in a miniature luxury hotel.
Book between Nov. 24-28 for departures from Aug. 27 through Nov. 5, 2023, and receive 25 percent off when using the code CYBERSALE.
Margaritaville at Sea
The only thing a Parrothead might like more than dipping toes in the water is spending a week on top of it. Until Nov. 27, guests of this Jimmy Buffett-inspired experience can enjoy rates starting at $99 per person, as well as a $25 per person Ocean View upgrade and 25 percent off all supplements. It’s an ideal bargain for people who simply desire a quick and easy three-night cruise getaway.
