The Pumphouse is an institution on Anguilla. The lively bar in Sandy Ground is set in a former salt factory, with wood walls and rafters lined with funky memorabilia. Bands take the stage every night, starting around 9:30, but Thursdays, this is the place to be.
Some would argue that the rum punch served at The Pumphouse is the best on the island. We’re suckers for a good rum punch, and we certainly wouldn’t disagree.

Pumphouse Rum Punch Recipe
Serves 1
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 2 oz simple syrup
- 3 oz golden rum
- a dash of Angostura Bitters
Mix well in a shaker with ice.
