With the St. Barth Gourmet Food Festival set to kick off, visitors to this stunning French Caribbean island will be able to enjoy incredible cuisine at one of the island’s newest and most buzzed about properties. Originally scheduled to open in early 2020, Hotel Barrière Le Carl Gustaf finally welcomed guests for the first time on October 15, and surely they were not disappointed.

The on-site dining will have a lot to do with satisfying first-time visitors, and certainly Michelin-starred Chef Pierre Gagnaire’s Le Fouquet’s restaurant will be a top reason for many return trips. Of course, getting to St. Barth is easier said than done these days, so to hold us over until next year’s St. Barth Gourmet Food Festival, the new hotel was divinely generous enough to share the recipe for the signature drink, Cocktail Le Carl.
